The fish tavern “Pros Vrosin kai Posin” (“To Eat and Drink” in greek) is on the square at Poseidonos and Dios 1 in Metamorfosi. In 2000 Eleni took on the family business and together with the other two girls of the “team” they managed to create a very special and beautiful hangout which they maintain and care for on every level. At the tables outside, the mascot “Ben”, along with the kittens of the square that the girls take care of, instantly mark it as “pet friendly”. We tried (and especially liked): Crab salad, fried courgette (zucchini) balls, sardines, squid, and cod with garlic dip (skordalia). On the menu you will also find the typical vegetarian options (such as beetroot, salad greens (vlita), salads, fava, fried courgette (zucchini) balls, fresh chips (fries), and boiled vegetables). If you have a vehicle it is only 20 minutes from the center of Athens and certainly worth visiting.
